Re-Imagining Stories of Addiction, Recovery, and Creativity through Archetypal Images

Why It Matters

In addition to ruining my health, finances, and relationships, addiction to alcohol, marijuana, cocaine and opioids complicated and perverted my relationship to art, once the primary way I could express my thoughts and emotions. While I’m beyond grateful to have been shown a new way to live, there was a time when I wasn’t sure I could ever again risk artistic endeavors.

But by researching the work of Dr. Carl Jung and his contemporaries, I discovered I could, and that a creative practice could be a boon, if not synonymous to my spiritual development, my recovery from addiction.

Through this newsletter, I share how archetypal storytelling and visual memoirs can help us heal, create, and reconnect to our inner power.

If you're suffering from addiction, navigating recovery, or seeking creative inspiration, this space is for you.
